Sun Kissed is a celebration and exploration of Black Trans bodies. It is a space for representation of the joyous aspects of these lived experiences, rather than further magnifying the harshness faced. To be Trans is to harness one’s autonomy and curate yourself in your own vision over time. To love yourself and other trans people intimately is a rejection of white supremacist ideals that seek to limit our imagination and compassion. We aim to center images of Black Trans bodies — masculine, feminine, and androgynous — in a way that revels in sensuality that is self-owned and governed.
