Sun Kissed

Ori gallery invites Black Diasporic Trans Artists to submit their works for Sun Kissed (working title), an exhibition focused on the many ways we self-evolve, inhabit our bodies and assert our autonomy. Throughout time humans have adorned and adapted themselves not just for survival but for self expression and self actualization. In an unpredictable and sometimes hostile world, the body can serve as a site of sensuality, connection and belonging. This exhibition seeks to explore self intimacy vs intimacy with others, how we create ourselves, how we grow into ourselves - engaging in self curation over time.

All mediums accepted. Each participating artist will receive an artist fee of $800.
